Why I developed SWAT?:
I started SWAT (Southern Wisconsin Area Teams) in 1994 to offer an opportunity for area athletes to play volleyball, outside of the standard USAV club format. There were many players wanting to play, but were limited by club size, time and/or financial constraints. Hence, SWAT was designed as a quality community-based program which was open to the general public on a first come, first served basis.
Probably because of my long love of sports and passion for coaching; first and foremost; SWAT was designed as a teaching organization. We pride ourselves on teaching strong techniques and working toward a complete athletic experience. I always look forward to coming to the gym and working with the many volleyball players and coaches participating in our ever-evolving SWAT programs.
